How to improve a lead magnet that isn't getting sign-ups
If people are seeing your Magnet but very few are completing email verification, do not immediately assume lead magnets do not work for your audience.
First check whether the exchange feels worthwhile.
1. Check the resource itself
Ask whether the resource solves a specific problem someone actually has.
Free Marketing Guide is broad.
12-point website launch checklist for small businesses is much clearer.
The visitor should understand what they are getting within a few seconds.
2. Check the title
Describe the useful result rather than the format.

3. Check where you are promoting it
A strong Magnet shown in the wrong place can still perform poorly.
Match the resource to the content around it.
A pricing guide belongs near pricing or service information. A checklist belongs next to content about planning. A template belongs where people are already trying to complete that task.
4. Check the capture experience
Email is always required because Gluuer uses it for verification.
First name, last name and marketing consent are optional fields. Only ask for extra information when you have a reason to use it.
The value of the resource should justify what you ask from the visitor.
5. Look at what people already ask you
Your strongest Magnet may already exist as an answer you repeatedly send through email, DMs or sales conversations.
Questions about price, preparation, process, comparisons and common mistakes can all become useful lead magnets.
6. Use your Gluuer analytics
Basic Magnet analytics are available on every plan.
Look at whether people are seeing the Magnet, then compare that with the access activity you are getting.
If very few people reach the page, improve distribution.
If people reach the page but do not complete access, test the offer, title or message.
Lite and Pro also make it easier to compare performance across Magnets, so you can see which topics attract more interest.
Test one thing at a time
If a Magnet is underperforming, change the title, placement or resource offer individually where possible.
That gives you a better chance of learning what improved the result rather than changing everything at once.
If you are on Lite or Pro and the resource itself needs updating, you can replace the file behind an existing File Magnet without changing its public link, contacts, analytics or history.
