Using QR codes and website embeds

QR codes and website embeds are available on Free, Lite, and Pro.

A QR code is useful when people need to open your Magnet Link from printed material, a presentation, or another screen. A website embed lets you include the Gluuer capture experience on a site you already own. You do not need a website to use the ordinary shareable Magnet Link.

Use the QR or embed option provided for your Magnet. For an embed, your website editor must support the supplied embed format.

Always test the result before publishing or printing. Scan the QR code with a phone and check an embed on the page where you installed it.

QR codes and embeds depend on the underlying Magnet remaining available. Deleting the Magnet does not make an existing printed QR code point to a replacement resource. Paid resource replacement can preserve the existing Magnet Link and its QR/embed association.

For printed QR codes, test at the intended physical size and from a realistic scanning distance before ordering a large quantity. For embeds, check desktop and mobile layouts and make sure the surrounding page does not hide or obstruct the capture experience.
