Understanding Magnet Link statuses
A Magnet's status explains whether recipients can currently access it.

| Live | Published, eligible, and publicly accessible. |
| Off | Currently switched off or otherwise intentionally unavailable. |
| Inactive | Unable to operate because of an eligibility restriction, such as a plan limit or an unavailable file. |
| Suspended | Disabled by Gluuer for moderation or safety reasons. |
| Deleted | Permanently unavailable after deletion. |
Check the Magnet's status in My Magnet Links before sharing it. Some screens may use availability wording such as online or offline.
Switching a Magnet off is different from deleting it. Deletion is permanent, while an inactive Magnet can retain its record and history.
If a Magnet is inactive after a plan change, review the new plan's limits. A live/off control cannot remove a plan restriction. If the displayed state and public page disagree, report the link and what you observed rather than deleting the resource as a troubleshooting step.
Status and plan allowance are related but separate. A Magnet that is switched off can still occupy a plan slot, while an inactive Magnet remains preserved without being publicly usable. Reading the status reason helps you decide whether to change a setting, review your plan, or contact support.
