Who is Gluuer for? Probably more people than you think
You don't need to call yourself a marketer to use a lead magnet. If people regularly ask you for a guide or a template, Gluuer was probably built with you in mind.

Say "lead magnet" to most people and they picture a marketing funnel. There's a landing page, an ebook, an automation platform and a diagram with fifteen boxes connected by arrows. That picture makes a very simple idea sound far more complicated than it needs to be.
A lead magnet is just something useful that a person is happy to exchange their email address for. The resource can be tiny, and the exchange can be completely friendly. Once you see it that way, it becomes obvious that the people who can benefit from Gluuer go well beyond marketing teams. Here's who we had in mind while building it.
Creators
Creators give things away all the time. Preset packs, gear lists, prompt collections and private videos get shared constantly, usually as a link dropped into a bio or a comment. The audience gets the thing and says thanks, and then that connection evaporates. The next time the creator wants to reach those people, they're relying on an algorithm to decide who sees the post.
Putting a Gluuer gate in front of those resources changes the outcome without changing the generosity. Your followers still get exactly what they came for. You also end up with a verified contact list that belongs to you, which becomes more valuable every time a platform changes its rules.
Consultants
Consultants probably have more ready-made lead magnets sitting on their laptops than anyone else. Diagnostic checklists, audit templates, pricing frameworks and old workshop slides are all perfect candidates. The trick is remembering that a good lead magnet doesn't need to reveal your entire methodology or replace a paid engagement.
It only has to solve one small, real problem well enough that the reader thinks, "I'd like to talk to this person." A two-page self-assessment that helps a business owner spot where they're losing money is often more persuasive than a long whitepaper, and it tells you exactly who is thinking about that problem right now.
Designers and creative professionals
Designers get asked the same questions over and over. Prospective clients want to know roughly what a project costs and what they should prepare before a kickoff. Most of the time those answers get typed out again in a fresh email, which wastes good thinking.
Turn those answers into a short PDF or a simple brief template and you have something far more helpful than another "get in touch" button. Photographers can do the same with shoot preparation guides or wardrobe checklists, and brand strategists can share a positioning worksheet. The expertise already exists in your head and in your sent folder, so Gluuer simply gives it a front door.
Coaches, teachers and fitness businesses
Think about everything a potential client wants to know before they pay you. A beginner training plan, a mobility routine for desk workers, a meal-prep checklist or a goal-setting worksheet can all do a lot of heavy lifting. Teachers and online educators can share a sample lesson or a study planner in exactly the same way.
The resource itself can be really simple. What matters is that the person gets immediate value on day one, and you earn permission to keep the conversation going. For a coaching business, that first small win is often what makes someone curious about working with you properly.
Agencies
Agencies produce a huge amount of useful intellectual property and then bury most of it inside decks that get presented once. A benchmark report or an annual trends presentation could become a Magnet in a couple of minutes.
The usual obstacle is that every new resource seems to need its own microsite, and that request sits in a backlog behind client work for months. With Gluuer you upload the file and share the link, then get on with your day. If the content gets updated next quarter, paid plans let you swap the file behind the same link without losing the contacts you've already collected.
SaaS founders
Lead magnets work especially well when your product solves a problem people are already researching. An implementation checklist or a free calculator can attract exactly the kind of person who might become a customer.
You don't have to turn everything into a PDF, either. If the useful thing already lives online, whether that's a Notion page or a small web tool, you can create a URL Magnet. The resource stays where it is, and Gluuer handles access and email capture in front of it.
Freelancers and job seekers
This one came from a very personal use case. Plenty of people put their resume or portfolio online as an open PDF, which means recruiters and potential clients can download it and leave no trace. Gating that file with Gluuer means you know who looked.
It's a small shift, and it can turn a silent download into a follow-up conversation. It also gives you a sense of which applications or pitches actually got attention, which is far more useful than wondering.
Musicians and podcasters
Unreleased demos, show notes, bonus episodes and listener guides all make great Magnets. Fans are usually more than happy to hand over an email for something that feels exclusive. Having that list means you can tell them directly when the next release or tour date lands, instead of hoping a post reaches them.
People who dislike marketing
This might be my favorite group. You don't have to become an "email marketer" to use Gluuer. Nobody expects you to send a newsletter three times a week or build a nineteen-step funnel.
You can simply say, "I made something useful. If you want it, here's the link." That is marketing too, and arguably a more honest kind.
Who probably doesn't need Gluuer?
If you already run a sophisticated marketing operation, with custom landing pages and a team maintaining complex automations, Gluuer isn't going to replace that setup. It isn't trying to.
Even then, there are moments when you want a resource live today instead of waiting for the next sprint. A quick Magnet for a conference talk or a partner webinar is a good example, and that's where Gluuer sits comfortably alongside bigger tools.
A simpler way to decide
Instead of asking yourself whether you need lead generation software, ask whether you ever give useful things away online. If the answer is yes, there's almost certainly something you could Gluuer this week.
Add the file or paste the URL and give it a title. About ten seconds later you'll have a shareable Magnet that collects verified contacts. The hardest part, making something worth sharing, is usually already done.
