Deleting a Magnet Link

Deleting a Magnet Link is permanent. Use deletion only when you no longer want that Magnet to be available. If you only need to stop access temporarily, consider switching it off instead.

Open the Magnet you want to remove, choose its deletion action, and read the confirmation carefully before proceeding.

After deletion:

• The public Magnet page stops providing the resource.
• Its hosted file is removed, or its destination URL is detached.
• Existing embeds stop providing access, and QR codes still point to the now-unavailable old link.
• Queued follow-up emails for that Magnet are canceled.
• Your Saved Contacts are not deleted just because the Magnet was deleted.

Historical contact activity and aggregate analytics can remain. There is no customer-facing Trash or Recently Deleted area for restoring the Magnet.

The old public identifier is not reused. Creating another Magnet with the same title will not restore the deleted link.

Before confirming deletion, check whether the link appears in scheduled posts, printed materials, website buttons, emails, or partner content. Saved Contacts remain, but anyone using the old public link will lose access, and the previous QR code cannot be reassigned to a newly created Magnet.
