Do I have to enter my name or create an account?

You do not need to create a Gluuer account or set a password to request a resource through a Magnet Link.

An email address is required because Gluuer sends an 8-digit verification code before providing access. Use an address whose inbox you can open.

First name and last name are optional. Depending on the Magnet's configuration, you may see those fields on the capture page. Providing a name helps the resource owner identify or address you, but it is separate from email verification.

Marketing consent is also optional and separate from the required email field. Review the wording before deciding whether you want additional messages.

If you are seeing an account-holder dashboard or a screen for creating your own Magnet, return to the original public resource link. Downloading someone else's resource and signing up to publish your own resources are different actions.

Use accurate information if you choose to provide optional details, particularly when the resource owner may reply personally. Leaving an optional name field blank should not prevent email verification, while an invalid or inaccessible email address will prevent you from receiving the code required for access.
