How protected resource access works

Your public Magnet Link leads to a verified-email access flow. It is not a permanent public storage address for an uploaded file.

For File Magnets, Gluuer provides temporary protected download access after the recipient verifies their email. The verification email contains the access code, not the protected file or a permanent download URL.

For URL Magnets, verification reveals an Open link action. The original destination remains hosted elsewhere and follows that service's permissions. Gluuer does not convert an otherwise public external page into private storage.

Share the public Magnet Link when you want new visitors to go through verification. Do not distribute a temporary file-download address as your main link.

Protected delivery is not copy prevention. Someone who has legitimately downloaded a file may still be able to forward their local copy. Gluuer protects the access path; it cannot control every use of a resource after a recipient has obtained it.

This approach lets you verify interest without exposing a permanent storage address as the public campaign link. It remains your responsibility to decide whether the resource itself is appropriate for distribution and whether it contains licences, personal details, or confidential material that should not be shared.
