I found the file, but I cannot open it
Your device needs an application that supports the file's format. A PDF usually opens in a browser or PDF reader, while a spreadsheet, presentation, ZIP archive, audio file, or video may require a suitable application. Check the filename extension and choose an application designed to open that type of file.
If the device says the format is unsupported, update the relevant application or try opening the file on another device that supports it. For a ZIP file, extract or uncompress it before trying to open the files inside. A work computer or managed phone may also restrict certain file types, in which case your organisation's administrator controls that restriction.
Download the file again only after checking that the original download completed. A file showing zero bytes or a much smaller size than expected may be incomplete. If a fresh copy still cannot be opened on a compatible device, contact the person who provided the Magnet and tell them the filename, format, and message shown by your device. Do not send the file publicly if its contents may be private.

- I requested several codes. Which one should I use?Use the newest code sent for the Magnet Link you are currently trying to open. A later request can replace an earlier code, which means an older email may still be visible even though its code is no longer accepted.
- Can I switch a Magnet off without deleting it?Yes. Switching a published Magnet Off makes it unavailable to recipients while preserving the Magnet for later management. This is useful when a resource needs a temporary pause, a correction, or a campaign has ended but may return.
