For a video or training resource
Hi, thanks for watching [resource name]. What is the main result you want from it? Reply and let me know. I read every response.
For a service-based business
Hi, thanks for requesting [resource name]. People usually use it when they are dealing with [problem one] or [problem two]. Which is closer to your situation? Reply with one or two and I will know where to begin.
For a product-related resource
Hi, thanks for getting [resource name]. What are you currently using for [task]? Reply and tell me. I would be interested to know what is working and what is getting in your way.
Do not copy an example without checking the context. The message should match the Magnet, your business, and the type of help you are prepared to offer. A precise question usually produces more useful replies than a broad invitation such as "Let me know if you need anything."
You can improve the message over time by paying attention to the replies you receive. If people seem confused, add context. If almost nobody answers, make the question smaller and clearer. If the replies regularly lead to useful conversations, keep the structure and refine the wording carefully rather than changing it after every contact.
