I deleted my only File Magnet. Can I create another one?
Yes, a deleted Magnet does not count towards the published plan allowance, so a Free account can create another File Magnet after its previous one has been permanently deleted. The new file must still meet Free's current requirements, including the one-File-Magnet allowance and the 50 MB maximum file size.
The new Magnet is completely separate from the deleted one. It receives a new public identifier and public link. Contacts, analytics, QR codes, embeds, and posts connected to the old link are not transferred to the new Magnet. The old link remains unavailable and is never reused for another resource.
If your aim is to correct or update the resource while keeping the existing link, deletion is the wrong method. Lite and Pro include resource replacement for that purpose. If you only need to pause access and expect to use the same Magnet later, switch it Off, but remember that an Off Magnet still occupies the plan slot.
