Why was my file rejected?

Gluuer checks uploaded files for type, size, and safety. A file may be rejected because its format is not accepted for new uploads, its extension does not match its real contents, it exceeds your plan's size limit, or it belongs to a blocked category such as an executable, script, installer, or unsafe archive.

Start by reading the exact message shown by the uploader. Confirm that the file opens normally on your own device and has a straightforward filename with the correct extension. Export the resource again from the application that created it if you suspect the file is incomplete or incorrectly labelled. Password-protected archives, archives containing dangerous file types, and certain complex archive structures can also be rejected.

Common documents and media can be supported, but the upload screen is the final check for the particular file you are submitting. Renaming a blocked file extension does not convert the file and should not be used to bypass validation. If the resource cannot be uploaded safely, host it on an appropriate external service and create a URL Magnet instead, making sure the destination's sharing permissions work for recipients.
